The short version: I ended up having a good run after a relatively tough start on a beautiful day out in the sun.

Kelly Johnson wrote up a report for the 25km here.
Trail Factor has also posted a fun Hagg Lake 25k and 50k video at http://www.trailfactor.com/. My spotlight is at around the four minute mark in the video...the guys who doesn't know his finishing time :-).
Great start to the trail season and all the great races.

Great job on your race. Way to stay strong mentally. Pretty impressive to run a 50k that close to finishing a marathon, a PR marathon, a sub 3 hour marathon. Keep up the good work.
Hey Darin!
I ran at Hagg Lake too and just stumbled onto your running blog. Great job last week. Will you be running on Sunday with the Trail Factor group?
Hi Heather. I remember when you past me like I was standing still...great job! I am running some of the Skinny Ass at Powell Butte on Saturday. Unlikely to make it to Saltzman on Sunday...but I do hope to make more of the Trail Factor runs in the future.
